Frank Defrancesco
I am a Co-Founder and Partner at Madaket Partners, LLC, where I focus in the employer-sponsored markets and work closely with individuals, families, and businesses to help them pursue their financial goals through thoughtful, customized planning.
My approach is centered on building clear, comprehensive strategies that integrate investment management, risk mitigation, wealth preservation, and distribution planning. I place a strong emphasis on long-term client relationships and strive to deliver guidance grounded in clarity, education, and trust.
In addition to working directly with personal clients, Madaket Partners provides investment advisory and portfolio management services to Equitable financial advisors and planners, extending our firm’s reach and enabling us to support a broad network of professionals and their clients nationwide.
I strongly believe in the power of education. In 2011, I founded a public school retirement benefit education program, which has since become a core pillar of our firm. Our team has expanded these offerings to serve not only educators, but also employers, financial advisors, attorneys, accountants, and 401(k) providers—helping stakeholders better understand retirement benefits and long-term planning strategies.
I began my career in 2000 as a Financial Professional with the AXA Equitable Retirement Benefits Group, a specialized division of AXA Advisors, LLC. In this role, I supported individuals, business owners, public schools, municipalities, and nonprofit organizations in managing their financial assets and making informed financial decisions. In 2005, I was promoted to Vice President, where I led the development of a team serving more than 25,000 active and retired educators throughout Connecticut.
Throughout my career, I have been recognized with multiple company and industry awards and was honored with induction into the Equitable Hall of Fame for my work on behalf of clients.
I hold both a Bachelor of Science and an MBA in Finance from Quinnipiac University, where I also serve as a Trustee and member of the University’s governing board. I maintain my Series 7, 24, and 66 registrations, as well as my Connecticut Life and Health license.
I live in Fairfield, Connecticut with my wife, Deborah, and our two children.
